Spicy Michelada

Looking for an excuse to have yourself a beer with breakfast? Why not make it a spicy Michelada? Try this recipe for our Barry's Spicy Michelada for the perfect start to the day!

  • 1 12 fl oz. can Mexican Beer (such as Modelo, Pacifico or Tecate)
  • ½ fl oz. Barry's Original Hot Sauce
  • ½ fl oz. Lime Juice
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 ½ Lime Wedge
  • 1 pinch Celery Salt
  • 1 pinch Ground Black Pepper
  • Salt
  • Cayenne Pepper


  1. Add equal parts salt and cayenne pepper to a plate or shallow bowl. Rub the lime wedge along half the rim of the pint glass and then dip the rim into the salt-cayenne mixture.
  2. Add the lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, black pepper and celery salt into the glass.
  3. Fill with the beer and garnish with a lime wedge.
  4. Sit back and enjoy (responsibly)!
