Jalapeño Guacamole

Level up your next Taco Tuesday with this deliciously spicy recipe for a simple, fresh AF guacamole that you'll have to work hard not to devour in one sitting...

  • 2 large ripe Hass avocados
  • 1 tablespoon Barry's Jalapeño Hot Sauce
  • 1 Jalapeño pepper, chopped
  • ½ small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Juice of one half of a lime
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 pinch cracked black pepper


  1. Add the garlic clove and salt to a mortar, and use the pestle to grind down to a purée.
  2. Add the avocado to the mortar and use a fork to mash it to your desired consistency. We recommend leaving a few lumpy bits for texture!
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and give it a good stir to combine.
  4. Taste for seasoning and enjoy!


Use this delicious guac as a dip, on your tacos and tortas, with your eggs in the morning or just eat it straight off a spoon while nobody is watching!
